Ipswich RSL Scholarship in Nursing

Applicants must:

• be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or permanent humanitarian visa holder
• be a resident of the City of Ipswich as defined by the local government boundaries (postcodes 4300, 4301, 4303, 4304, 4305, 4306, 4307, 4340, 4346) 
• be continuing their studies at UniSQ in the Bachelor of Nursing in Study Period 1 2023 (e.g., Semester 1 2023)
• have, as at the release of results for Semester 2 2022:
  • a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 study units completed and credited towards their current program (be entering into the second year of their degree)
  • a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0
• be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in Study Period 1 2023 (e.g., Semester 1 2023)
• be enrolled on-campus, external or online
• be able to demonstrate a primary family (parent, grandparent, sibling, child or grandchild) relationship to a current or former Australian Defence Force (ADF) member.

Applicants must:

• submit a personal statement (500 words maximum) outlining:
  • your reflections on your studies at UniSQ to date and how you will make the most of your remaining studies
  • how you see yourself as a future professional within your field
  • your connection with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) services and your reflections on what this means to you.
• provide evidence you are a resident of the City of Ipswich as directed in the application process.
• provide evidence to demonstrate your primary family relationship to a current or former ADF member as directed in the application process.

* Applications will also be assessed on academic achievement.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
