Domestic HDR Stipend Scholarship

UniSQ is offering a limited number of stipend (living allowance) scholarships for domestic students studying, or commencing one of the following programs in 2024:

  • Doctor of Business Administration (current students only)
  • Doctor of Education (current students only)
  • Doctor of Creative Arts (current students only)
  • Doctor of Professional Engineering (current students only)
  • Doctor of Professional Studies (current students only)
  • Master of Research (commencing and current students)
  • Master of Science (Research) (current students only)
  • Master of Engineering Research (current students only)
  • Master of Business Research (current students only)
  • Master of Professional Studies (current students only)
  • Master of Laws (Research) (current students only)

Students studying full-time in any of the above programs are preferred.

Please note: Doctor of Philosophy (DPHD) students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. DPHD students may instead apply for the Domestic PhD Stipend Scholarship.

As part of UniSQ's Reconciliation Action Plan a scheme exists to promote entry into the PhD by Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Staff from the Graduate Research School (GRS) are available via email, phone or in person to assist with the application process.

Application for entry into the program is a separate process that must be started to be eligible for the scholarship. Application steps can be found here.
  • Stipend of  AUD $33,000 per annum.
  • Maximum period of tenure of an award is three years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the degree will be deducted from the period of tenure.
