Healthy Land and Water is hosting a free Drought and Climate Adaptation workshop in Lowood. The workshop will provide a wide range of information, practical advice, and tools to help graziers and farmers understand and identify risks and develop adaptation strategies and plans and transformative NRM practices for their properties. Producers will be able to incorporate learnings into their property management plans to build drought and climate impact resilience.

Attendees will hear from guest speakers from the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and the University of Southern Queensland – Centre for Applied Climate Science (UniSQ ClimateMates). Topics will include an overview of historic climate patterns, main drivers, current seasonal outlook and latest forecasting information and tools.

Morning tea and lunch is provided.
