Examiner information
The University of Southern Queensland would like to thank all our examiners for taking the time to examine a Higher Degree by Research thesis submitted as a final assessment requirement for all Higher Degree by Research students. The objective of the examination is to enable qualified people to review the research undertaken by the candidate and form an opinion as to whether the work is worthy of the degree.
The thesis are examined according to specific criteria. Examinations are carried out in accordance with the Higher Degree by Research Thesis Examination Procedure.
The supervisory team must declare any actual or perceived conflict of interest regarding examiners in accordance with the University’s policies on conflicts of interest and ACGR Conflict of Interest in Examination Guidelines (PDF 264KB).
Revealing Your Identity
If you choose to have your identity revealed to either the candidate and/or the supervisor, this will not occur until after the examination process has been finalised, and generally in response to a request of this information in writing.
