The GRS hosted a virtual research poster showcase and competition as a part of the HDR Essentials. A Slice of Learning day.
All current active and enrolled Bachelors (Honours), Masters and HDR students were eligible to enter.
The winners of the GRS Virtual Poster Showcase and Competition have been announced.
In First Place, winning $500 to be spent on research related endeavours with 752 votes is Richard Dein Altarez with his poster Uncovering the Carbon Treasurers of the Philippines’ Towering Mountains: A Synergistic Exploration Using Satellite Imagery and Machine Learning.
The Runner up and recipient of the $250 to be spend on research related endeavours with 384 votes is Immalka Wasana Rathnayaka with her poster The Economics of COVID 19: Assessing Macroeconomic Impact.
