Dr. Krishna Bista is a Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership and Policy at Morgan State University, Maryland (USA). With a wealth of experience and expertise in global student mobility and international education, Dr. Bista is dedicated to teaching and supervising doctoral students in Higher Education and Community College Leadership programs. At Morgan, he has led various initiatives such as the Teach Online Workshop and the Summer Writing Institute.  He has published over 100 academic papers, essays, book chapters, and edited several books and journal volumes on topics including international student mobility, campus internationalisation, and online teaching and learning.

Dr. Bista is the founding series editor of the Routledge Global Student Mobility and serves as the Executive Vice President of the STAR Scholars Network, Maryland. Dr. Bista's research interests encompass student mobility, doctoral student experiences, technology in higher education, leadership preparation and practice, and college access and success. With a strong commitment to education, Dr. Bista continues to contribute to the field through his teaching, research, and publications, making a lasting impact on higher education.
