"GP in schools influence on First Nations Students with a disability.
First Nations students with a cognitive disability may face barriers to accessing government and disability specific systems which might improve student’s ability to engage in school-based learning opportunities.
This research study aims to employ qualitative case study and use interpretative methodology to investigate the impacts and possible benefits which might result from a GP in school working to improve students physical and mental health at Goodna Special School. As this study is unique and part of a pilot project it will explore and build new knowledge in this under developed research area.
