UniSQ College is pleased to invite you to Dr Kate Judith’s book launch Exploring Interstitiality with Mangroves: Semiotic Materialism and the Environmental Humanities.
How to stay with thinking the in-between is a challenge that has attracted thinkers from many traditions for its potential to empower socially and environmentally just processes. This book embraces that challenge, weaving together theory, science and close observation by taking theory into the mangroves, those dynamic ecological communities that thicken and enliven the in-betweens of intertidal zones. It will be of interest to readers in ecocriticism, environmental humanities, cultural geography, place studies and environmental philosophy.
