Formed in 2007, IDERN provides an avenue for researchers on doctoral education from around the globe to generate dialogue on knowledge creation and doctoral pedagogy. The aim of the network is to generate a collaborative, international research agenda for doctoral education; to build a research field in this most advanced form of educational provision; and to connect researchers from different national settings, as well as different disciplines and research perspectives.
Dr Lynette Pretorius (Monash University), Professor Loleen Berdahl (University of Saskatchewan) and Dr Nicolette Buirski (Southern Cross University) will discuss their research on fostering doctoral student wellbeing and excellence, with a focus on exploring research that embodies and enacts diverse strategies for promoting balance and wellbeing, and promotes research and academic excellence with doctoral students. There will also be time for audience interaction and discussion. For further details please click on the registration link below. After registration, Zoom details will be provided in a confirmation email.
Although this event is tailored for doctoral education researchers, research students (HDRs) are also encouraged to attend.
