Centre for Heritage and Culture Guest Seminar: Professor Tracy Ireland and Dr Steve Brown, Centre for Creative and Cultural Research, at University of Canberra will discuss recent ARC Linkage projects, including Everyday Heritage - a project assisting communities and heritage managers to give value to underrepresented groups and their stories. 

Tracy Ireland is Professor of Cultural Heritage in the Faculty of Arts and Design, and Director of the Centre for Creative and Cultural Research at the University of Canberra, and President of Australia ICOMOS. She is the lead CI for two ARC Linkage projects: Heritage of the Air, -a digital and community focussed project studying how communities value the heritage of Australian aviation; and Everyday Heritage, a project that will develop tools for communities and heritage managers to give value to underrepresented groups and their stories.
Dr Steve Brown is an ARC funded Senior Research Fellow for the Everyday Heritage Linkage Project, and Lead Adviser, ICOMOS-IUCN Connecting Practice. 

In this seminar, Professor Ireland and Dr Brown will share their experiences of heritage partnerships, including collaboration outside of traditional heritage fields, such as creative arts.
