This proposed research investigates whether organisational capital, managerial capability, and CEO compensation predict the firms' emergence during bankruptcy proceedings. Using samples from U.S. firms who filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 in the United States Bankruptcy Courts from 1989 to 2021, this research discusses how bankruptcy cases utilising the feature of Bankruptcy Code Chapter 11 likely emerge from insolvency. Using logistic regression, this research measures the associations and predictions on firms' emergence from multiple perspectives. Further, the potential findings shed light on stakeholders who are concerned and adversely affected by corporate insolvencies and bankruptcies.
