The "Satellite clinics initiative to increase regular sexually transmitted infection testing in a Queensland Correctional Facility" will be submitted as a Thesis by publication. The purpose of this program of research is to estimate the prevalence of STIs within the corrections environment. The key objectives are to develop and evaluate the efficacy of a Satellite Clinic Initiative in Queensland, Australia, to increase access and uptake of STI testing, treatment, and surveillance by incarcerated men; and to evaluate acceptability and feasibility of implementing a novel STI testing and surveillance program in the prison environment from the perspectives of both incarcerated people and health staff.
