Organisational Culture and its Influence on The Retention of Talented employees in UAE Government Sector

Talented employees working in UAE government sector are registering a high rate of requests to change their current departments or apply for resignation looking for a productive work environment. This qualitative research aims to develop a framework to assist HR leaders in two UAE government organisations to invest in the capabilities of talented employees and retain them for longer periods of employment. A survey will be used to gather data from 8 leaders to know about their leadership practices, followed by interviewing 4 talented employees to further explore their experiences. The emergent findings enable an understanding of the influence that leaders’ practices have on the performance and retention of talented employees.
