The University of Southern Queensland is delighted to announce the return of Mathematics Teacher Day. This free event offers high school mathematics teachers an opportunity to enrich their knowledge, skills, and teaching strategies. This one-day program aims to provide a platform for professional growth, collaboration, and exchange of ideas and experiences in mathematics education.
During this event, the following topics will be discussed: complex numbers, and introduction to mathematical and statistical modelling, as well as R programming language and RStudio. Furthermore, the impact of ChatGPT on mathematics assignments will be a crucial point of discussion.
We are excited to welcome mathematics teachers to this event, where they can expand their expertise, connect with peers, and ultimately empower themselves to inspire their students in the world of mathematics.
