UniSQ Experience Days offer school students opportunities to take an in-depth look at study areas that interest them. Registration is open to all years 10, 11 and 12 students. Teachers are invited to register their interest in the event to assist in planning for the day. Individual registration is required by each student attending the event.

How to Register
Students wishing to attend must register individually. Teachers registering their interest for their school and students must confirm the number of students attending during their registration, followed by their students' individual registrations. This allows us to maintain Covid-19 guidelines and ensure sessions are allocated to students correctly.
Students may attend as part of a school group or individually.
Please Note: Students must register individually in order to secure their place.
As part of your registration, students are able to select two of the following 90-minute academic led sessions for the day. Students will complete one session in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Education (Becoming a Teacher)
You probably already have some idea about becoming a teacher because you are at school but – spoiler alert – there’s more to know! This session will help you to identify the personal attributes and core skills needed to become a great teacher.
Nursing
Experience Nursing at UniSQ through our Experience Day nursing activity. This 90-minute session will give you a hands-on look at Nursing led by our experienced Registered Nurse Academics.
Paramedicine
In this session, students will have an opportunity to learn what it takes to be a Paramedic. Led by our UniSQ paramedicine lecturers, you will have an opportunity to experience hands-on activities that mimic some of the the skills of a real life paramedic.
Sport & Excercise (Exercise Testing for Athletes & Biomechanics and Motor Control)
Find out how high and far you can jump and how athletes are tested and examine how the muscles are controlled by the brain during exercise.
Sport and Excercise (Exercise Physiology & Exercise Prescription and Delivery)
Learn how the physiological systems respond to exercise and Experience how to prescribe and deliver exercise training.
Wildlife Management (Whose scat is that?)
Whose scat is that? Come along to learn all about how to identify wildlife from a variety of methods, and spend 90 minutes in the shoes of a wildlife management student!
