About the talk
Participating in an endurance event can take its toll on your body. Associate Professor Lainie Cameron will help you identify whether you are just stiff and sore or are you injured and need to be examined by a professional.
About the presenter
Lainie Cameron is an osteopath and an accredited exercise physiologist. She has been involved in university education and research in some way or another for most of her career and completed two research degrees focussed on applied clinical research and clinical education. Lainie is passionate about good quality research and intrigued by the complexities and challenges that arise when research meets clinical work. Most of her research and clinical practice is in rheumatology (arthritis care). Lainie leads the exercise physiology degree program at UniSQ.
The Ipswich 100 Charity Bike Ride will be held on Sunday 27 March 2022.
The ride is a project of the Moggill Mt Crosby Lions Club, in association with the Ipswich Hospital Foundation.
All proceeds from the ride are donated to charity.
