As of Friday 8 January 2021, the State Health Emergency Coordination Centre has advised that all students attending placements in the Greater Brisbane area (facilities listed below) must go home and not return to placement until advised.
Students with placements commencing on Monday 11 January 2021 at the sites listed below cannot commence.

All students who reside in Greater Brisbane area and are due to commence placement at a facility outside of Greater Brisbane are not to attend their placement on Monday 11 January 2021 and continue to check emails for further information.
All students who reside in Greater Brisbane area and are currently on placement outside of Greater Brisbane should liaise with their Placement Provider and the HES Placements Office for further advice.
More advice will follow on Monday 11 January 2021 regarding the continuation of Clinical Placements next week.
All other placements will continue as planned.
