UniSQ Student Senate
As a member of the Student Senate, you will represent the voice of your student peers in university governance and decision-making. You will have several important responsibilities, such as:
- Represent your peers and keep them up to date on important university matters
- Collaborate with the university to develop policies and services that aid students in their learning, teaching, and research
- Create initiatives, programmes, and campaigns to increase student engagement and representation in university decision-making
- Receive and share genuine student feedback with the student body
- Follow the seven guiding principles of student partnerships so that the University can incorporate student input into decision-making and foster a culture of student-staff collaboration
- As a member of the University community, demonstrate the highest possible standards of professional and personal conduct, both as an individual and as part of a team, commit to regular engagement in personal, professional and team development

If you are interested in becoming a members of the UniSQ Student Senate, the first thing you need to do is select your preferred role from the Available positions listed above. All student representative roles are democratically elected, so you will then need to submit an application form through the Nominate now link.
As part of your application, you will be required to write a brief statement of interest. This will then appear on the UniSQ electronic election system so students can make an informed decision when casting their vote.
