Elite Athlete Program
As a member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) Network, we provide support services designed for students who deal with competing demands of sport and study, helping you achieve your full academic potential.
How to Register
To be recognised by UniSQ as an Elite Athlete, you must be identified by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), state or territory institute or academy of sport or a relevant national association as outlined in the AIS Guiding Principles.
If your circumstances fall outside these guidelines, you may still apply for consideration.
To register, please complete the Elite Athlete online application form.
Supporting documentation
Within your application, you will also need to supply:
- a photo of yourself in action playing your chosen sport
- a letter of support from your coach or manager
- other documentation you have to support your application (placement letters, training schedules, media releases).
