  • USQ Ignition Alumni Entrepreneurship Series
    This online event series is co-hosted by UniSQ’s Careers & Employability team and the Alumni office. Join us twice a month on a Thursday afternoon to hear from some of our most entrepreneurial alumni, who have gone on to create their own business. We will speak with serial entrepreneurs who happen to be siblings, philanthropists that are helping to train more swimming teachers, and tech founders changing the construction industry. Our speakers will be sharing their experiences from all over the world in this truly international series. 
    We are proud to call these incredible minds UniSQ alumni, and can’t wait to introduce them to you.
  • Have great idea? Learn how to turn it into a business
    Throughout this entrepreneurship program, you will test your early-stage business idea. The Ideas Academy will help you gain the tools and confidence to test and explore your idea. Find out more. 
  • Innovation Challenge
    Get real-world industry experience and networking, while you workshop authentic problems to provide meaningful results.

Previous events have included:

  • How to start a startup
    A three-part webinar series to introduce the startup world, and how it works. We looked at what you need to do to turn an idea into action, and what funding sources are available to you.
  • Emerging jobs of the future
    A series of interviews with industry professionals in emerging industries, including 3D printing, drones and eSports.
  • Design Thinking workshops
    A full-day in-person workshop where students solved actual industry problems through the principles of design thinking. We had a variety of professionals present a challenge in their industry, and students worked in groups to ideate potential solutions.
