Univie: Summer and Winter Schools

Art and Visual Culture, Design, Literature, Music and Musical Culture, Politics, Society and Psychoanalysis in Sigmund Freud’s Vienna.
Summer
Students have a choice of two studies; European History in which covers history, visual culture, politics, law and Economics or they are able to study German Language courses.
Program credit:
Elective or course approved by Academic Affairs.
Winter:
EUR1174.
Includes: Tuition, teaching material, excursions.
Excludes: Transportation (including flights), accommodation, visa, meals and personal expenses.
Summer:
EUR2104.
Includes: Tuition, Teaching materials, excursions, insurance, accommodation, three meals a day and a ticket to the chamber concert.
Excludes: Transportation (including flights), accommodation, visa, other meals and personal expenses.
Costs may vary each year.
OS-HELP Loan
The OS-HELP loan provides financial assistance to Australian students wishing to study abroad while receiving credit towards their degree.
UniSQ International Study Abroad Grant
AUD500.
All funding is subject to eligibility and availability.
An additional fee for room and board on-campus will be collected by the Sommerhochschule for the host institution (Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung). This fee includes accommodation and full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the four week program.
Accommodation in a single room: EUR1849.
Accommodation in a double room: EUR1555.
To be eligible for a short-term study abroad or exchange program you must:
- Have completed at least one year of full-time academic study (i.e. completed at least eight courses)
- Have at least one course left to complete upon your return to UniSQ
- Be in good academic standing: a GPA of 4.5 or above
- Meet all requirements for the selected program
- Provide a copy of your official UniSQ academic transcript.
