The University of Southern Queensland Human Research Ethics Committee (UniSQ HREC) is established and operates in accordance with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, 2007 (updated 2018).

Category Minimum criteria

Laywoman

  • identify as female
  • member of the general public who does not have an affiliation with UniSQ.
  • does not currently engage in medical, scientific, legal or academic work.
Counsellor
  • with knowledge of, and current experience in, the professional care, counselling or treatment of people, for example, a nurse or allied health professional
