eResearch Consultation
UniSQ's eResearch Services aim to enable researchers to use appropriate information technology to achieve successful research outcomes and realise UniSQ’s high-quality research agenda.
Researchers
We engage in consultations with researchers to gain an understanding of their research activities and their computing support requirements. We provide researchers with guidance and support to work out what software, hardware, tools, platforms, or services they need for their research as well as where, when and how to access them.
Institutes, Centres and Schools
We work with Institute, Centre and School support staff to achieve strategic research outcomes.
We assist research Institutes, Centres and Schools achieve effective application and use of research computing and data storage infrastructure governed and managed in accordance with UniSQ Research Data Management Policies and Procedures, the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, funding and regulatory body requirements and applicable State and Commonwealth Laws.
We enable research Institutes, Centres and Schools empower researchers implement Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) and Collective Benefit, Authority to Control, Responsibility and Ethics (CARE) principles throughout the research project lifecycle. Research staff and students are provided ongoing research data management training to keep updated and maintain good research data management practice.
Research Funding Applications
We provide researchers as well as research Institutes, Centres and Schools with guidance and support to work out what software, hardware, tools, platforms or services they need for their research projects as they make funding applications.
We provide advice on IT direction and requirements for research projects and grant submissions.
eResearch Services Training
We provide training on campus and online for researchers covering HPC, research data management and research computing

eResearch Services Support
UniSQ Researcher Support Hour - are open to all research staff and students. These get togethers aim at being open, inclusive and welcoming to make it easier to navigate the intricacies of IT for researchers. A goal of UniSQ Researcher Support Hour is to develop a community of researchers who receive as well as provide support to improve UniSQ researcher experiences and outcomes.
