Deferred and Supplementary Formal Examinations

If you receive a DA (Deferred Assessment) or SA (Supplementary Assessment) grade following results release, you may be required to sit a deferred or supplementary formal examination to finalise your grade in the course.

If you are required to complete one of these exams, you will receive notification via UMail when the Deferred and Supplementary Exam Schedule is released to students, one week prior to the commencement of the Deferred and Supplementary Assessment Period.

Deferred and Supplementary Formal Examinations will normally be held within the next Deferred and Supplementary Assessment Period. Deferred and Supplementary Assessment Periods are listed in the Academic Calendar and Important Dates.

Final grades for any Deferred or Supplementary examinations will be updated after the scheduled results release date at the end of the teaching period, and no later than the Census Date for the next teaching period. Please contact your course examiner if your Deferred or Supplementary exam result has not been released after this time.

If you have any questions, the iconnect team are here to support you on Live Chat, Zoom and Phone, Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm and from 12pm – 5pm on weekends.
