Synopsis
This course focuses on understanding the basis for disease states that are most prevalent in the developed world and how they can be treated. Major topics to be covered may include mental health disorders, inflammatory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, respiratory, and urinary diseases, shock and cancer. Perioperative drugs will also be considered.
