Pre-requisite: Students in all BEDU specialisations will have completed all prior Professional Experience courses in their recommended enrolment pattern. Students must have successfully completed the entire previous year's professional experience courses in order to enrol in this course. Students must be available for a prescribed period of time to undertake a placement in a school or other approved site as required in this course. SynopsisStudents will engage with the design and delivery of learning experiences for individuals and groups employing a range of developmentally appropriate and flexible teaching, learning and assessment strategies and resources in ICT enriched environments. The course includes a 15 day, school based practicum which provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding related to ICT and pedagogy and their ability to integrate ICT into the curriculum. This Professional Experience component will provide specific opportunities for students to plan, implement and reflect upon their developing ICT pedagogy. Resources developed throughout the course may be selected by students for inclusion in their digital portfolios, which they will create throughout the program as evidence of their learning. Note: Minimum enrolment numbers applying to this offering.
