- promote the support options available to people affected by sexual assault and sexual abuse, and
- uphold a clear message that sexual violence will not be tolerated in our communities.
Celebrations
International Women’s day held on 8 March each year, is the day we celebrate all women, in all their diversities. We embrace their facets and intersections of faith, race, ethnicity, gender or sexual identity, or disability. We celebrate those who came before us, those who stand beside us now, and those who will come after. It’s a time to celebrate the achievements of women, whether social, political, economic or cultural.
Trans Day of Visibility held on 31 March each year, is and international celebration of trans and gender diverse pride and awareness, recognising trans and gender diverse experiences and achievements.
International Men's Day held on 19 November each year celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities.
